The Audio-Technica ATH-M50 are excellent headphones when it comes to long-term, comfortable listening. These headphones are designed for professional monitoring and mixing, but are great for casual listening as well.
These are some of the most comfortably padded ear cushions so you can comfortably listen to your music for hours at a time. These are a real mix of luxury for serious mixing sessions, and comfort for kicked back listening for long periods of time. Great headphones!

Plain and simple, sound is awesome. Light weight and comfortable and holds a charge for a long time (even though all you have to do to recharge is hang them up on their stand…so easy).
